What is myGeolog?

myGeolog is a free location aware social network, available from both mobile and web, allowing users to share photos and videos with geographical position from their mobile phones using GPS or address lookup. Connect with friends and get real-time updates on where your friends are and what they are doing, make comments on your friends photos and interact on the go. Users can also share their mobile content on other social sites such as; Facebook, Flickr, Youtube, Twitter and fireeagele. Your personal content is available from your personal web-profile at mygeolog.com. Use privacy settings in order to protect your content.

How do I get myGeolog on my mobile?

In order to use myGeolog on your mobile phone you need to download an application. To get it, just click "Sign up" or "Go mobile" on top of this page. Or enter www.mygeolog.com/mobile into your mobile browser. The application is for free and easy to use.

What does it cost?

MyGeolog is free of charge but your operator may charge you for data traffic. If your phone has a Wi-Fi connection you can send photos and videos for free by connection to a Wireless network.

Why do I get security warnings when using the application?

This is due to default security settings on your mobile phone. Mygeolog wil not cause any harm to your mobile. In order to remove the warnings you need to change settings in the application manager on your phone. Change settings from ALWAYS ASK, to ALWAYS ALLOW.

Can I upload full size images, taken with the regular camera?

Yes. From the application, go to, more - myPhotos and upload from gallery, phone or memory card. Click right in order to change tab. NB! Make sure you have given mygeolog access to the phone and memory card on your mobile phone. Change settings in your application manager.

How do I a set privacy settings?

Set default privacy under mySettings. You can choose between, Public, Community and Private. Privacy can also be set in the photo - and videoform before upload.

Which phones are supported?

See list of supported phones. We are constantly working to add more devices, so if yours isn't supported yet, check back soon or drop us an e-mail.

How do I cancel my membership?

In order to cancel your account, please send us an e-mail at support@mygeolog.com and we will delete your account.

From where can I use myGeolog?

MyGeolog is available from all around the world as long as you are connected to the Internet.

How do I send photos and update my status to Facebook?

In order to send photos and status updates to Facebook you need to install our facebook application and connect your facebook and mygeolog account. Search for mygeolog in the application gallery on facebook. NB! Make sure you are logged in at both Facebook and mygeolog at the same time when you are connecting your accounts (from web only).

Can I send videos to Facebook?

No, currently you can only send photos and status updates to Facebook.

How do I send photos to Flickr?

Click share from your web profile at mygeolog and click the Flickr link, log in to your Flickr account and grant access

How do I send videos to Youtube?

Click share from your web profile at mygeolog and click the youtube link, log in to your youtube account and grant access.

How do I connect to Twitter?

Simply enter your Twitter username and password under mySettings - Share in the mygeolog application.
